I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2000 with a BSc (Hons) degree from Manchester University. I worked for the NHS and Bupa hospitals in the UK for 5 years before moving to Dublin, Ireland in 2005. In Dublin I have since worked (and still do) in private practice in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and specialising later in Womens’ Health and Dry needling.
In 2006 I gained my full matwork certification with the APPI in London and have taught classes for the last 16 years. As a physiotherapist my primary goal is to provide PIlates in a safe and effective way, and my classes are suitable for those who have had or continue to have musculoskeletal or women’s health problems.
With a background in gymnastics, keeping fit and staying strong has always been important to me. Discovering Pilates was a natural step for my own health and fitness, and as a physiotherapist the benefits of Pilates and rehabilitation are huge. I have a passion for teaching Pilates correctly and I gain great satisfaction from hearing how my classes provide a positive impact on my clients’ health and wellbeing.
My classes are suitable for all, taught in a safe and controlled way, even those with musculoskeletal or health issues.
Through my website I want to allow you to join my online classes from the comfort of your own home, either live with me, or in your own time and at your own convenience.
